Scheduled - Software and security updates will be installed on all Windows and MacOS office computers during an upcoming maintenance window.
During this time, the following updates will be installed:
- Monthly software updates for Windows and MacOS
- Monthly software updates for Microsoft Office
- UniFLOW printing updates
- OneNote for Windows 10 removal
- Disabling "randomizing" feature on all UNW-owned macs before they connect to wireless networks
- Standardizing UNW-owned macs so that Favorites menu looks similar to Favorites menu on UNW-owned Windows machines
During the maintenance window, your computer will automatically begin installing any missing software updates as soon as it is powered on and connected to the internet or the UNW network.

-You can install these updates ahead of time by following this guide:

-Otherwise, you can wait until the evening that the maintenance window begins but leave your computer powered on and connected to the internet. By leaving your computer on overnight, updates should install automatically while you aren't working.
-If you wait until the following day and turn your computer on, your computer will automatically begin installing any missing software updates as soon as it is connected to the internet or the UNW network.
